Let’s face it…We all use toilet paper!  Why not select a product that works well and is softer on the planet.

A friend who knows I am always looking for ways to be eco friendly that fit into my lifestyle shared a box of Betterway toilet paper with me.  

I did some searching to learn more about the company and the product and found the Betterway website to be incredibly helpful and filled with eco responsible information. The FAQ information provides details about the company and how they work with their supplier to provide a quality product that is eco friendly.  This includes sourcing where bamboo where it is native and is not an invasive species as well as packaging with compost-friendly inks and tape.

I reached out to Christian Cox and Eugy Alliegro, owners of Betterway, to request an interview and they readily agreed to share information about their company with me so I can share with you.

I was impressed by the dynamic duo of Christian and Eugy.  They have taken a serious approach to finding a day to day product that is sustainable and benefits the planet.  Checking with multiple suppliers, learning about manufacturing processes and becoming certified or working with companies that are certified in some highly respected eco friendly programs like FSC, Climate Neutral and Tree Free. 

While slightly more expensive than other toilet paper, Christian and Eugy have found a way to responsibly produce a high quality, eco responsible product that limits waste.  

This is a great example of a simple change we can make in our daily lives, contributing to our planet. Or as Betterway says it…”Soft on the Planet”.
